Known for its eccentricity, Japanese fashion is on a roll! The new do is to wear printed skirts, that suggest that, well, you're not wearing any! Not sure how much they'll be able to export the concept to our side of the world, but you have to give them a good point for originality...
This reminded me of a huge scandal that took place in France back in 1973 when singer Michel Polnareff promoted his 'Polnarévolution' Olympia tour by cross-dressing, knickers down, for all of Paris' pleasure.
Our national rebel was condemned to pay 10 Francs per image, a joke when compared with the success of his concerts. Polnareff played on this face-to-face with French laws, starting off each concert by exhibiting a dancer, dressed as the singer, who would put his pants down in reference to the mythical poster.
